  2. USAGE
  3.      F[inger] [<user_name>][@<host>]
  4.  
  5. DESCRIPTION
  6.      The finger command retrieves  personal information about users of a
  7.      system.  When used by itself, a list of known  users on the current
  8.      system will be displayed. When a user_name is added to the command,
  9.      finger will display information about that particular user.
  10.  
  11.      The same functions  detailed above  may be  performed on some other
  12.      TCP/IP host connected to the network. Just add the "@<host>" to the
  13.      finger command as specified in the usage line above.  To get a list
  14.      of the  users on a  remote  system, enter  "finger"  followed  by a
  15.      <SPACE> and an "@", then the host name.  To get information about a
  16.      remote user, simply insert the user name before the "@".

  19.      finger           (list the known users on this system)
  20.      f g1yyh          (list info about the local user "g1yyh")
  21.      f @g1yyh         (list the known users at host "g1yyh")
